Youth Sunday Approaches!

For a lot of students, this past week marked the first days of the new school year! I hope they have treated you well. And, for those high schoolers who got their car info to us, we stopped by on the first day and left things on your car. Side note: a year or two ago we got stopped by a campus security person at Miramonte – this has made every venture into a school parking lot feel like we are fugitives running from the law. Adventure! Intrigue! And probably the reality that we just look like goofs putting harmonica keychains on cars and no one is paying any attention to us.

But I digress.

This coming Sunday is YOUTH SUNDAY!

I personally hold that it is the best Sunday of the entire year; I am not being ironic when I say this. It is not like saying cats are really talented. It isn’t like saying fad diets can’t be wrong, right? It isn’t like inviting bears into the tree with you.

Join us at both the 9am and 10:30am services tomorrow, August, 26 to hear the stories, see the pictures, and talk to the people who spent a week of their summer to focus on the needs of others. It will be worth it. ‘Nuff said.
