Mission Trip Day 2

Today was our first day of service and it was great!

After breakfast and packing our lunches at our host church we headed out. A team served at LA Mission, a men’s Christian shelter in Skid Row, by cleaning bathrooms, making lunches and making festive signs for an upcoming celebration event. Another team went to a park to serve food and then to an elderly home to fellowship.

All teams finished the day by serving children at Salvation Army sites, playing games, facilitating crafts and even leading a Bible story at one site!

We finished the day with a dinner at a Salvadorian restaurant and then a tour of the city via our vans, where we learned about issues in the city and prayed over it.

Keep praying for God to work in and through our amazing middle school students!
