The mid-month newsletter for December is here! You can also find it over on the Newsletter page!

And, although we’ll be checking in here on the blog over the Winter Break, we thought we would share a few photos from the last few youth group holiday parties. ‘Tis the season!

The Holy Family
When you have an excuse to dress up like Mary, Joseph, and 8lb 6oz tiny baby Jesus – you take it.

After YOW Hang OutYou Shouldn't Have!

Nothing like eating some treats after a tough Holiday Relay Game. Two things to note.
1) The random foot in the picture above and right.  Where is the owner of this foot? It makes me laugh every time I look at it.
2) In the bottom right pic, there was a petting zoo at the Children’s Ministry event, Night in Bethlehem. For this event they have a petting zoo company bring animals over. My favorite animal in this bunch is the tortoise both because the idea of ‘petting’ a tortoise is awesome, and because the of the idea of a wild tortoise hanging out in Bethlehem maybe trying to make it to the birth of Christ… only to be thoroughly late and thus missing out on being a recurring animal in nativity scenes ever after.

Bed Head

John had some trouble with his wig hair, but let’s be honest – it looks amaaaaaazing.

Thumbs Up for Jesus

To be fair to John’s wig pic, we though an embarrassing photo of us was deserved. I will claim that this photo is equally embarrassing to John’s pic to the end of my days. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
