A Little About LOPC
What time is Sunday worship?
Join us in-person or online for Sunday Worship, live at 10am or on demand anytime thereafter.
What kind of music will I hear?
You will hear a wide variety of styles through an equally wide variety of instruments and groups. The church has a strong commitment to traditional hymns and classical music. There is an equally strong commitment to more contemporary styles. We refer to this as a “blended approach.”
When and how is Communion celebrated?
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month! Communion is the Lord’s feast and anyone who considers themselves a part of the Christian family of faith is welcome to participate. We celebrate communion with bread and grape juice on-campus. For those who continue to worship at home, we invite you to have these elements on hand to participate in the celebration. Should you need assistance obtaining bread and grape juice during the quarantine, please email email@example.com.

YOUTH MINISTRY (5th-12th Grade)
5th – 8th Grade: Youth Alive
Sundays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
At Youth Alive, youth learn about Bible stories and discuss how to actively apply them today. We play games, fellowship, service-learning projects, and snacks. We gather in the Sanctuary to participate in the start of LOPC’s main worship service and then go together upstairs for our own special lesson and activities.
5th – 8th Grade: YOW (Youth on Wednesdays)
Sundays, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
At YOW, we gather for a fun afternoon of games, worship, service-learning projects, small groups, and discussion. This is the place for youth to connect with students from other schools who are having the same experiences. Throughout the year we focus on topics such as seeing God in the world, who God calls us to be, growing in faith, friendships, dating, school, family, and much more. Location: Upper Youth Room (CLC 201), September through March.
9th – 12th Grade: BTW (By the Way)
Sundays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
At BTW, we connect with each other through worship, teaching, games, service-learning projects, and small groups. We cover a wide range of topics throughout the year including our relationship with Christ, how to grow in our faith, and what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Throughout the year, small groups gather several times for Home Groups, enjoying food fellowship and conversation together outside of the youth group. Upper Youth Room (CLC 201), September through March.
