Adult Choirs

Chancel Choir – This large ensemble leads worship 2 or 3 Sundays each month, singing a wide variety of choral repertoire. Rehearsals: September through May; Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.  Please contact worship@lopc.org if you have questions. (Note: We are holding off this choir for now.)

Festival Choir – This choir assembles during the Christmas and Easter worship seasons. Rehearsals: seasonal, Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00 p.m. with additional dates and times. The Holy Week Festival Choir 2022 will start its rehearsal on Ash Wednesday, March 2, right after the 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday Service. The choir will sing for the Good Friday Service on April 15, two Easter Sunday services on April 17, and for the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, April 24. Tremble Clefs – A choral group composed of people who have Parkinson’s disease. Besides being great fun, singing can be therapeutic by developing vocal strength and clarity. This group is sponsored the Parkinson’s Network of Mt Diablo. Meets on Thursdays 1:30 -3:30 p.m. (Note: We are holding off this choir for the remainder of the year.)
