Service Opportunities

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. – Matthew 25:35

At LOPC we strive to be a reflection of Christ’s light in the world through service.

At LOPC

 Annual Service Opportunities

  • Warm Winter Nights – A two week on-site homeless shelter at LOPC with opportunities to prepare a meal, tutor a child, act as an overnight host and more.
    2019 dates Oct. 21- Nov. 4.
  • Love Does – One of the most important things that we can do as Christians is to demonstrate God’s love for the world, and our community. Love Does affirms that our faith is active, and that we can accomplish great things together. It matters that we are out in our communities doing things that make an impact, to remind others that we love them.

In the Community

NEW Loaves and Fishes Martinez Needs Help! – Help one of LOPC’s ONE Sunday partners with food prep and service of meals on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.  The shift is from 9:15am-1:15pm and typically consists of a group of 6. The shift may be split and you may work once a month or every few months — there are many options.   Contact eleanor@loavesfishescc.org for more information.   More Volunteer Opportunities
