For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. – Matthew 25:35
At LOPC we strive to be a reflection of Christ’s light in the world through service.
Annual Service Opportunities
- Warm Winter Nights – A two week on-site homeless shelter at LOPC with opportunities to prepare a meal, tutor a child, act as an overnight host and more.
2019 dates Oct. 21- Nov. 4.
- Love Does – One of the most important things that we can do as Christians is to demonstrate God’s love for the world, and our community. Love Does affirms that our faith is active, and that we can accomplish great things together. It matters that we are out in our communities doing things that make an impact, to remind others that we love them.
