Service Opportunities

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. – Matthew 25:35

At LOPC we strive to be a reflection of Christ’s light in the world through service.

 Annual Service Opportunities

  • ONE Sunday – A day of service where participants volunteer throughout Contra Costa County with LOPC partners and other non-profits.
  • Warm Winter Nights – A two week on-site homeless shelter at LOPC with opportunities to prepare a meal, tutor a child, act as an overnight host and more. Registration for this year’s shelter is open now; click here for Meal Sign-up, and click here for Activity Sign-up!
  • Christmas Opportunities – LOPC partners with several agencies to fulfill the need that exists annually to help people celebrate in spite of any challenges they may be experiencing.
