Vacation Bible Camp

At Vacation Bible Camp, we explore God’s goodness and celebrate how God helps us when we have Big Questions through songs, stories, games, experiments, and more. Camp is where kids experience the love of God, grow in the values of kindness, justice, and mercy, and learn to change the world around them by being the hands, feet, and heart of God.

  • Who: Kids who have completed Kindergarten to 4th Grade (June 2021)
  • Dates: Monday, June 7th – Friday, June 11th, 2021
  • Time: Monday – Friday, 1-3 pm
  • Cost: $75 per child

Because COVID is still prevalent in Contra Costa County and kids won’t be vaccinated until after the summer, camp will look different this year – but we’re still excited to host your kids in person!

Registration for kids is currently FULL. Our registration capacity is extremely limited this year due to our COVID protocols. However, we can moderately increase our capacity if more adult, full week volunteers are able to register. You can click here to register as a volunteer and increase our capacity! To place your child on the Vacation Bible Camp waitlist, please email Ryan at ryan@LOPC.org.

Right now, we are unable to open our PreK Camp for kids who will be at least four years old by September 1st but who haven’t yet entered Kindergarten. We may be able to open PreK Camp if we have more adult, full week volunteers register, however. To place your child on the PreK Camp waitlist, please email Ryan at ryan@LOPC.org.

In 2020, we offered our first-ever Virtual Vacation Bible Camp due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the Virtual Vacation Bible Camp page to see the curriculum and videos from that experience.

Be a Camp Volunteer
We would love to open camp up to as many families as possible, but we are dependent on our volunteer capacity.  Not only are volunteers essential to our program, the relationships that are built during this week last a lifetime. Please see below for more information about volunteering at Vacation Bible Camp.
