Study and Prayer Groups
Study Groups are composed of approximately 8-12 people who gather regularly and intentionally to explore where God meets them in their lives.  Through Scripture and discussion, the group seeks to deepen their faith and grow in Christ.

Companions for the Journey
Companions for the Journey, helps us find and see God in our lives.  We cannot love what we do not see. Led by Joan Beerline, it is a unique opportunity to be with fellow seekers using reflection on scripture and life, spoken word and silence to search for God’s presence and guidance in ordinary life. 2016 - 2017 Schedule. Click here to register for Fall 2016.

On-Going Bible Study Groups
Thursdays, 7:30 AM in the Ministry Center Library
Thursdays, 1st and 3rd weeks, 9:30 AM in Room 201  (Women Only)
Saturdays, 7:30 AM in the Oak Room (Men Only)

Centering Prayer
1st and 3rd Thursdays
7 - 8:30 PM in the Chapel
This practice enables the opening of mind and heart, our whole being, to God, beyond thoughts, words and emotions. Centering Prayer emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and is based on the wisdom of Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount, : “... But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.”

Presbyterian Women Circles
Bible Study Circles are open to women of all ages and life stages. There are various groups that meet monthly and focus on Bible study, mission and fellowship.   At this time in California, water has become a topic of concern, discussion, and even of worry. Will it ever rain again? Can we be prudent in our use of water? It may surprise you to learn that water plays a central role in the stories of the Bible, from the chaotic waters of creation to the River of Life in Revelation, where chaos is no more. Think of Noah with too much water; of Jesus turning water into wine; of John baptizing Jesus in the Jordan River. The Bible literally teems with water stories. For more about what the Bible says about water, join a Presbyterian Women (PW) Bible study circle this September, as we delve into nine different stories of water such as creation, baptism, stormy water and hope. Please join us !.  ..more about the Circles.
