Small Groups

Small Groups are composed of approximately 8-12 people who gather regularly and intentionally to explore in community where God meets them in their lives through Scripture, interests, discussions and concerns in order that their faith may deepen and grow in Christ.

Do you really know who you are, who you are meant to be? To discover how we are Alive! in Christ it is important to first understand who we are.  The world puts a lot of labels on us and it's hard not to live into those assigned roles. What we find in Ephesians, however, is that we are not who others say we are; we are, just as we are, nothing less than the beloved, adopted children of God.

Participate in a small group study to enrich your worship experience this Lent as you begin to discover just who God meant for you to become. The Lenten Bible Study booklet ($5) and group sign-ups will available on the patio starting January 8 thru February 12.  Group information...

Bible Study
Thursdays, 7:30-8:30 AM in the Ministry Center Library
This group is open to newcomers! They have been meeting for over thirty years and study a variety of books of the bible. All are welcome!

Men's Spirituality Group
Sundays, March 4, 2012 - April 4, 2012 at 9 AM
Men are invited to participate in a four-week series of discussions devoted to exploring what spirituality is and what it means for today's Christian male. Through a collection of short reflective readings and small group discussions, men explore and discuss contemporary roles and challenges in a safe and supportive setting.  Men who participated in last year's group are encouraged to join the sessions again as the spiritual journey is an ever-evolving process. Presbyterian Women Circles
Bible Study Circles are open to women of all ages and life stages. Women's Spiritual Journey Groups
Second Monday Group - meets at 9:45 AM in the Chapel
Third Sunday Group - meets at 4:00 PM in the Chapel
Women’s Spiritual Journey Groups offer women a community of friendship, prayer support, study, and quiet reflection once a month.  We come together seeking God’s presence through selected readings, God’s Word, reflective silence and sharing of spiritual journeys.

The Second Monday Women’s Spiritual Journey Group  will use selected pieces from the book, Devotional Classics, edited by Richerd Foster and James Bryan Smith.  These are writings that aim at the transformation of the human personality. 

The Third Sunday Women’s Spiritual Journey Group  will be reading from the book Contemplative Bible Reading, Richard Peace. This spiritual practice helps access Scripture in a life-changing way.    Contact Sue Gibbons at clearspeech@suegibbons.com for further information.
