Singles Ministry Vision

Singles Ministry is a Christian Fellowship centered on Christ, embracing variations in faith, welcoming questions and doubts, discussing God’s presence and guidance in our lives, and encouraging prayer.

• Singles Ministry includes Singles of all ages, in all stages and transitions of life: never married, divorced, widowed, single parents and their children, singles blending families and married Singles Ministry “Alumni”.
  
  
• Singles Ministry develops strong Christian Fellowship.  Participants join FISH Groups and Singles Ministry Leadership Teams - both of which facilitate deeper freindships and support during transitions.  
  
  
• Singles Ministry intentionally integrates newcomers, and all Singles Ministry participants agree to the Membership Covenant
  
  
• Singles Ministry provides many opportunities for Spiritual Healing that facilitates Personal Growth, such as: Divorce Recovery, Divorce Recovery for Kids, Single Parent and Blending Families Support Groups, Bible Studies, Retreats, LOPC Worship participation, Classes, Discussion Groups, Prayer Teams and Second Sunday Singles. 
  
  
• Singles Ministry participants support local community service activities and mission trips with LOPC’s Mission Partners
  
  
• Singles Ministry members are integrated into the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church Family. Singles Ministry members participate in LOPC Worship, Spiritual Formation Offerings, Mission Activities, Fellowship Events and the All-Church Mt Hermon Retreat
  
  
• Singles Ministry is a vibrant Christian fellowship where individuals can meet others with similar values, grow personally and spiritually, engage in mission activities, and have fun together!
