Singles Ministry Service Opportunities Local (Contra Costa County) and International Community Service is a key component of the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church's Vision Statement and church culture.  LOPC strives to have 75% of members involved in some area of mission work and at least 25% of their total giving devoted to supporting mission activity. Singles Ministry supports LOPC’s mission goals by participating in LOPC sponsored Mission Opportunities (such as Warm Winter Nights) and by organizing mission opportunities just for singles. These events provide opportunities for singles to get to know each other while helping others.  Basic descriptions of some of our key ministry areas are listed below, as well as current Mission Opportunities.    Upcoming Service Opportunities     Juvenile Hall For more than 30 years, Singles Ministry participants have taken dinner to a group of kids in Juvenile Hall on the first Friday each month.
