Presbyterian Women at LOPC
Presbyterian Women (PW) is the national women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). With a history of more than 200 years, PW is committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church's mission, working for justice and building community. At Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church PW is active in Circles, small groups of women who meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship, and events open to all women of the church.
PW Monthly Bible Study 4th Wednesday of each month 9:45 a.m. in Davies Room Book, "Confessing the Beatitudes" Study Guide, $9 in the church office.
Agape Circle Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:45 a.m. in the Davies Room (or occasionally at a member’s home). Providing layettes for Cameron House is our ongoing mission project. For more information email vhipkiss@comcast.net
Circle of Faith Meets the 1st Wedneday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
Esther Circle Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.
Grace Circle Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Mary Magdalene Circle Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:15 p.m.
Mary Martha Circle Women ages 50s and up; meets on the 2nd Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at church; Bible study; bring a sandwich, dessert, tea/coffee provided by hostess..
Ruth Circle Women ages 70 & up; meets on the 1st Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in members’ homes and at church; Bible study; bring a sandwich.
