Children’s Ministry | PLAY on Wednesdays

Children’s Ministry is eagerly anticipating the return of our mid-week program for kids in kindergarten through 4^th grade: PLAY on Wednesdays!

Join us for this time of fellowship where maker space meets performance stage. Revisit Bible stories from a whole new perspective while trying out new ways of storytelling: shadow and hand puppetry, improvisation and tableaux, acting, sound scape, prop and costume design, and more! We will be exploring stories such as Jesus’ parables and other works from the New Testament. We’ll break into small groups to take on the roles of actor, designer, filmmaker or playwright!

PLAY on Wednesdays runs in two sessions and shares a window-on-the-work showcase at the conclusion of each session which we will open for friends and family to attend.

Program Dates 2026

3:15 – 5:15pm on select Wednesdays:

• WINTER/SPRING: Jan. 14, 21, 28, Feb. 4, 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18 (SHOWCASE at 4:15 on March 18)
• FALL: Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 4, 11 (SHOWCASE at 4:15 on November 11)

COST

Tuition for PLAY on Wednesdays is $175 per semester. Scholarships are available so please inquire as needed.
