From this pain (to you I give my control)

Forty days, forty nights and no less,
forty days in a vast wilderness
Forty days tempting me to do wrong,
help me Lord forty days to be strong

Somewhere out there is my sole salvation
A forty day long journey through temptation

Help me, Lord find hope, joy, love, peace!
