Volunteers for the Diablo Valley chapter of Rebuilding Together (formerly Christmas in April) improve and repair homes that are owned by low-income elderly, or disabled people. The organization is based on the fundamental belief that all people deserve to live in decent, safe housing.

Volunteer tasks may include building wheelchair ramps, installing grab bars and handrails, painting peeling walls, removing fire hazards, repairing leaking roofs, and helping with general clean-up.
