In 2005, LOPC sought to develop relationships in Central America similar to that established in the Middle East. The vision is to bring hope and help to people in Guatemala by becoming a significant contributor of goods and services through selected organizations and through those relationships to learn about the complexities and possible solutions to specific problems.

After much study and prayer, the Guatemala Mission team selected Potter’s House in Guatemala City and the Mayan Village of San Juan de la Laguna as mission partners. Additionally, the Guatemala team sponsored a group of children from Fotokids to visit the East Bay and LOPC. Another visit is planned for June 22nd -July 2nd in 2008 to visit these organizations and people in order to build our relationships.
