LOPC is a community of many generations, seeking unity through service to God and generosity in response to our blessings.

The Builders - Born before 1946 and now 66-95 yrs old
In 1954, 154 households elected to organize LOPC. Subsequently, they acquired 45 acres in Lafayette and constructed the original LOPC sanctuary, which is now Fellowship Hall. This age group lends support across all ministries of the church.

The Boomers - Born between 1946-1964 and now 47-65 yrs old
This group is the largest dollar contributor of the generational groups. Service to others both locally and internationally is a top priority. Their participation at LOPC helps them rethink priorities in their lives.

| The Gen-Xers - Born between 1965 - 1982 and now 29-46 yrs olds
This group is involved in all aspects of LOPC are taking greater leadership roles. They are particularly focused on childen, youth an family ministries, as well as local and international mission work. They contribute both time and funding to the church.

The Millennials - Born between 1982 - 2002 and now 18-28 yrs
This generation is involved in the Youth mission activities, Youth programs and being role models for younger children. They are spiritually hungry and are searching for answers to help them make sense of the world.
