With increasing pressure to succeed in our culture, families are struggling to stay emotionally and spiritually centered.
"Over the past twenty years, I have seen a huge increase in stress in my patients," said Dr Daniel Robbins of Lamorinda Pediatrics. "The main stresses kids are facing are expectations of academic achievement and family discord."
The Family Center is intended to lift up the Christ-centered values of love, grace and humility, and provide support and resources to all family members. The Family Center will offer opportunities for parent and grandparent education, mission service, worship and social opportunities that are open to the community. Once a month, the Big Family Sunday will offer families time together in faith building activities.
