Sunbeams

Friday Morning Choir for Preschoolers - Kindergarteners

Sunbeams is a beginning choir experience. Sunbeams learn basic vocal techniques and rudimentary music skills, as well as explore the importance of choral music in worship. Children sing, play instruments, act Bible stories and do rhythm activities. The choir will sing four times in the sanctuary during worship services.

God’s Groove

Sunday Morning Choir for Preschoolers - Kindergarteners

God’s Groove explores Christian themes through music and movement and rhythm. Children will learn traditional children's songs that are the foundations for teaching Bible stories, important values and lessons.  The choir will sing in the sanctuary four times during worship services throughout the year.

Psalmsters

Choir for 1st - 2nd Graders

A choir structured to combine music education with spiritual growth. Psalmsters will develop their vocal and music reading skills, as well as learn to understand the leadership role music plays in worship. Psalmsters will participate in Sunday services a few times a year and tap into their spirituality through their music. Emphasis is on the importance of teamwork. Mature Kindergarteners interested in a formal choir experience are welcome to contact the director.

Joyful Noise

Choir for 3rd - 5th Graders 

Children will learn the basics of reading music, proper singing techniques, music theory and history, the role of music leadership in worship and music to sing in worship services. The music will be sacred, and Christian education and spiritual formation are included in this program. Joyful Noise will sing during worship services several times a year.

Where: Chapel: Sundays, 10:15 - 10:45 AM (On the 2nd Sunday of the month, the choir meets in the Sanctuary choir rehearal room)
