Location
Childcare is located on the first floor of the Christian Life Center (to the left of the Sanctuary) every Sunday Morning. For special services and events throughout the week, Childcare will occasionally use other areas of the campus.
Sunday Mornings Childcare is offered on a drop-in basis for ages 3 months - 4 years old during worship services. Just come by the Childcare entrance and sign your child in! Children are welcome as early as 15 minutes before the first service, and can be checked in at any time afterwards, as space allows. Other programs are available for children starting at 3 years of age if they are potty-trained; please look over Godly Play to see if this would be a better match for your child.
Options for Parents with Infants and/or Young Children Children are always welcome in the Sanctuary with their parents during Sunday Morning services. Parents may elect to have their children in childcare during all or part of all worship services. You may also use the "family room" at the back (narthex) of the Sanctuary on the left; it is equipped with CCTV to watch the service, rocking chairs for nursing, a changing pad, and appropriate toys for toddlers. The Welcome Center also has CCTV to view the service and is open to the labyrinth courtyard when weather permits.
Special Events Childcare When childcare is offered for special services and events, we ask that parents pre-register for childcare. You may pre-register as early as you wish, with at least 48 hours notice so that we can arrange for staffing. Depending on the event, Childcare may be offered up to age 10 years. Parents may pre-register for special-event-childcare by emailing: Kimberley@lopc.org with their child(ren)'s name(s) and age(s).
Special Services and Events that may have childcare include, but are not limited to: Choir Rehearsals, Prayer Circles, Lectures, PW Tea, Village Family Night, Village Mom's Night Out, ONE Sunday, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve Service, Christmas Concert, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Services.
Illness Policy Children who are ill should remain at home. For the protection of all, children will not be permitted in childcare with: - Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours - A fever, even a slight one within 24 hours - A "runny" nose, especially if the discharge is colored rather than clear. - A visible rash - "Pinkeye" or other contageous discharge from eyes or ears - A persistent cough - Fatigue or other symptoms that prevents full participation in the program activities

Diaper Changing Facilities Full size changing tables are available in the Women's bathrooms in the CLC building. A Changing Pad is available in the "family room" at the back of the Sanctuary. Folding Koala-Care Change Stations are installed in most men's and women's bathrooms throughout the campus.
Lost & Found Children's Lost and Found items are located in the large credenza in the CLC lobby, just outside the check-in area for Childcare. Parents are encouraged to look through the drawers and cabinets often, as items can take over a week to find their way into Lost & Found, and unlabeled Lost & Found items are usually donated if not picked up after 6 weeks.
