Presbyterian Women at LOPC Presbyterian Women (PW) is the national women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). With a history of more than 200 years, PW is committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church's mission, working for justice and building community. At Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church PW is active in Circles (small groups of women who meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship) and events open to all women of the church. Begining in September 2010, PW will begin a study of the Book of Revelation, seeing that the images in Revelation are windows into a vision, not equations or secret code. Agape Circle We are a vibrant group of retired women who meet for Bible study, lunch and fellowship ten months a year. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month September through May at 10:45 a.m. in the Davies Room (or occasionally at a member’s home). Our two special events are a Christmas lunch in December at a local restaurant and our annual picnic in June. Providing layettes for Cameron House is our ongoing mission project. Ruth Circle Women ages 70 & up; meets on the 1st Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. in members’ homes and at church; Bible study; bring a sandwich.
