There are several groups at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church to serve the needs of women.
Presbyterian Women
PW is the national women's organization of the Presbyterian Church; LOPC has several circles within PW that meet regularly.
Quilters
A dynamic group which joins together for fellowship and sewing on Thursdays from 1 - 3 p.m.
in CLC 202. Quilters of all levels are invited. Projects include making quilts for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, using fabrics that have been donated. Contact Deborah Hall at deborahahall@comcast.net or through the church office (925) 283-8722 for more information.
Knit & Crochet Groups
"Chicks with Sticks" meets for fellowship, fun, and knitting/crocheting every Tuesday evening from
7 - 9 p.m. in Room 204 of the Christian Life Center. Beginners or experts, everyone is welcome! Even if you have never knitted and would like to learn, this is the group for you. Bring your own
projects or work on projects underway for mission and outreach.
