There are several groups at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church to serve the needs of women.
Presbyterian Women
PW is the national women's organization of the Presbyterian Church; LOPC has several circles that meet regularly.
Quilters
A dynamic group which joins together for fellowship and sewing on Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
in the Chapel narthex. Projects include making quilts for the children of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, using fabrics that have been donated.
Knit & Crochet Groups
Groups meet every Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 3 and every Thursday
from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Davies Room. Skill levels range from beginner to expert. If you have never knitted and would like to learn, this is the group for you. Bring your own projects or work on projects underway for mission and outreach.
