About six years ago, after many years of study and prayer, our Session voted to embark on a three- phase building program so our church could better meet the needs of the congregation and community. The first and second phases of the program resulted in the new Christian Education building, Ministry Center, Worship Plaza and Labyrinth, and other less glamourous but essential infrastructure enhancements. Now we are ready to complete what was started and turn our attention to the kitchen, outdoor gathering spaces and paying down the Ministry Center construction loan. To do this, Session has approved a $3 million capital program. The total cost of our campus renewal program, including this third phase, will be approximately $16 million - right on target with our initial estimates.
Our capital improvement programs, once fully realized through the successful completion of this third stage, will serve the active growth and development of LOPC for many years to come.
